PLAYERS & STYLE:  8-person Flag with Screen Blocking, no contact, (4 men & 4 women)
TOURNAMENT FORMAT: Pool Play with ALL teams advancing to Single Elimination Playoff (Guaranteed 3 Games) Note: Top 2 teams in each pool play will advance to an "A" Playoff and remaining teams from each pool play to a "B" Playoff – minimum of SIX teams needed for "B" playoff
ENTRY FEE & DEADLINE:  $160 per team due by Friday, April 28
AWARDS: "A" Playoff Champion: $100 Voucher toward Entry Fee to National USFTL Championships, Orlando Fl, 2001; OR plaque and champion shirts; OR $100 prize money. "B" Playoff Winner: $50 prize money
PLAYING RULES:  Complete USFTL Playing Rules will be provided as requested
A. Quarterback Runs- a male runner cannot advance the ball through Team A’s (offense) scrimmage line
B. A male receiver cannot catch a legal forward pass behind the line of scrimmage and advance the ball through the scrimmage line

C. Male to Male completions- during the offensive team’s possession, there may not be 3 (three) consecutive legal forward pass completions from a male passer to a male receiver. After 2 consecutive male to male forward pass completions, the next legal forward pass completion must involve either a female passer or female receiver for positive yards.

D. Scoring- if a female player throws a legal forward pass and a touchdown is scored by any player on offense, the point value is 9 points. Also, a female reception of a legal forward pass on offense and that female scoring, the point value is 9 points. A male to male pass or a female run, the point value is 6 points.

E. Kicking- teams will kick to start each half and after a score. NOTE: Females will be allowed to return kicks, Males will only be allowed to advance a kick after a backward lateral from a female.

F. Length of Games- two halves of 22 minutes. The clock will run continuously for the first half (exceptions: team timeouts, officials timeouts, and after scoring). During the last TWO minutes of the second half, the clock will be stopped for: scoring, timeouts, two minute warning, incomplete passes, out- of-bounds, first down, penalty, touchback, new series, and inadvertent whistle.

NOTE: For tournaments, the clock will not stop during the last two minutes of the first half except for a score or timeout.

G. Timeouts- three per half.
